Gate Istanbul Real Estate Investment & Consultancy (Gate Istanbul Real Estate), as data controller, is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK)[1]. This page explains what data we collect through gateistanbul.com, why we collect it, how we protect it and what your rights are.

2. Data we collect
- Contact data: your name, country, phone number, email address, type of request and message, when you submit our contact form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, time of submission and the page the request was sent from, for security and to prevent automated messages.
- Usage data: general statistical information about visits to the website, collected through cookies.
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your requests and enquiries and to contact you.
- To provide the real estate consultancy and services you have asked for.
- To protect the website and our forms from automated messages and misuse.
- To improve the website and understand how it is used in general.
Legal basis: your explicit consent when you submit the form, the performance of the service you request, and our legitimate interest in protecting the website, in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or share it with any third party for marketing purposes. Data may be processed by the technical service providers we rely on to run the website, only to the extent necessary:
- Hostinger: website and email hosting.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: verifying that the person submitting a form is human and not an automated program. More information: Cloudflare Turnstile privacy addendum.
- Google Analytics: general statistics about visits to the website.
We may share the necessary data with the lawyers and licensed offices we work with, only when this is required to perform the service and with your knowledge.
Some of the service providers listed above may process data outside Türkiye; in that case the transfer abroad is made under the safeguards set out in Article 9 of KVKK.
5. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work securely, and statistical cookies from Google Analytics. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
6. How long we keep data
We keep the data from contact requests for as long as we are dealing with you, then for the period required by Turkish law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. How we protect data
We take technical and administrative measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), two-step verification for administrator accounts, and restricting access to the staff concerned only.
8. Your rights under Article 11 of KVKK
- To learn whether your personal data is processed, and to request information about it if it is.
- To learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose.
- To know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred in Türkiye or abroad.
- To request the correction of incomplete or incorrect data.
- To request the deletion or destruction of your data.
- To request that third parties to whom the data was transferred be notified of any correction or deletion.
- To object to a result against you arising exclusively from the analysis of your data by automated systems.
- To claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
To exercise your rights, write to us at contact@gateistanbul.com or send a written request to our office address. We reply within 30 days at the latest.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when needed; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
